First time coming here. It was their soft opening, although they have been in business for 10 years. Under new ownership is what I read. They did have a little wait, but I love how they were keeping me updated, via text and in person. They have a full bar, which is great while you wait. They had a new cocktail they were trying out, so they gave it to me on the house, it was a hibiscus/watermelon and it was really good. I had the short rib with eggs and crispy potatoes and it was really good. I also tried their waffle with bacon bits and that was also good. The pancakes are huge. They have a patio so this is a great spot for summer dining. Met the owner Antonio and he was very nice and welcoming. There is a parking lot next tot eh building but they charge, I believe it's the cities parking lot. You can park around a the corner for free. Totally worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood!

Purchased a Groupon a while back and had to use it before it expired. Location was a little difficult to find as the GPS navigated the location a block away (for future reference it's next to Fronk's). Place is nice and airy. Employees are very friendly and Coleen was our server and very attentive. As for the food, it's very tasty and high quality. Portion sizes are average. The pancakes were perfect as were the eggs and bacon. The blueberry mojito was tasty as well and Coleen gave us the lil overpour left over. Why the 5 star rating you say? Well, mainly cause it was overpriced for what you get. 21 bucks for a pancake combo (2 pancakes, probably 2 scrambled eggs and 3 pieces of bacon). I'm also a cook breakfast at home type of person cause I'd rather spend money out for lunch or dinner instead. Even with the groupon and tip it came to 61.00! However, if you're not a drinker don't order any alcohol but give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

So today we found out that this "the nest" place is an extension of the other once across the street! IT WAS AMAZING!!! The wait was way shorter over here & the vibes were super aesthetic. Everyone here was so friendly & accommodating. And the food? AMAZING!! I'm always craving chilaquiles & this place has one that just hits the spot cause it's not soggy at all!! The mimosa flight was delicious too which I shared with my friend. But omg, the table for 2 behind us got this "large cup" one that they shared which was HUGE!! Catch me here next time getting that drink . My friend super loved the spicy chicken biscuit sandwich & he said that the spice level was perfect & the chicken wasn't dry at all. I got the gravlax which was a salmon on toast type of thing which was delish as well cause they had it on like this French toast bread, so fluffy!!

We really wanted to come to the special event, Chef Series 8.0, last night! We love the other location and wanted to try this one. Since we couldn't make the event last night, we came here today for brunch. Service is lovely, they greet you immediately upon walking in, and then come and get your drink order right away. I have to say their coffee is quite strong and bitter, so I didn't drink mine. I considered ordering the mimosa flight but at $35 I thought, "naaaaaa". It's pretty expensive for brunch place, and they have kind of a small menu, but the food is pretty darn good. They also have music, and it's quite lively in here. The chairs are pretty uncomfortable, definitely not the kind of chairs you want to hang out in for a couple hours. So, eat and leave. lol We ordered the bacon waffle and the biscuits and gravy. The waffles are soooo good, with lots of bacon and a bourbon maple syrup to die for. The biscuits and gravy are huge. And they're served with sausage and one egg, so it's a pretty full breakfast. All in all, the place is good, the food is darn good, the atmosphere is fun, the service is wonderful, but the chairs are uncomfortable, and the regular coffee is not very tasty at all. I will come back here though!
